Original Vintage Travel poster to Avignon, the Palais de Papes (Palace of the Pope) and the Pont Avignon by The Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee railroad (PLM) 1922. Designed by Roger Borders in shades of orange and pink overlooking the blues and greens of the Rhone river all set within a blue border. This is a genuine Stone Lithograph. Roger Broders, considered to be the most important travel posterist of the early 20th century, he created travel posters for the PLM Railroad in the Art Deco style from 1921- 1931. This is an Original Vintage Poster. It is not a reproduction. It is archivally mounted (linen backed). It is in very good condition, with 2 very small, insignificant spots in the upper right portion of the sky. It was previously framed and the extra linen has been trimmed away.  We guarantee the authenticity of this and all of our posters.
