This is an original vintage poster, conservation mounted on linen, in B+ condition, printed in 1935, created by Leonetto Cappiello, considered one of the greatest 20th century designers, and called “The Father of Modern Advertising”. Known for his outrageous designs, this is classic Cappiello. A courtier astride a dragon to advertise a shoe store! The Perrouin brothers opened a store in Nantes specializing in expensive men’s and women’s shoes. Very rare.
