This intriguing image featuring a woman in a straw hat was created by Rene Gruau in 1962 for Air France, travel to the French Riviera. Printed by S. A. Courbet of Paris in a combination of lithography and serigraphy. Gruau is considered to be possibly the most importatant fashion illustrator of the 2nd half of the 20th century. The simplicity of his lines and depiction of women are truely memorable, as is this image! Gruau did not create many posters and this is one of his best! This is an Original Vintage Poster.
